True, it is not what is called true cinnamon--but it is the Cinnamon that is used in studies about its efficiency for blood sugar control and lowering cholesterol etc. If you choose to use it for health issues, not just for flavor--this is the one to go for! SME California

my mother, a chef who has many decades of experience in cooking, visited us and made a dish using this cinnamon. she was very unhappy. she showed me how this cinnamon make rice slimy and it's not good taste-wise.

I have ordered this product recently and it arrived open. It spilled in the box it was shipped in. I thought it was a one time thing, but we had another one stored in the kitchen that we were about to open and use and it was open in the same spot, the bottom. We hadn't noticed it before. So now I'm worried to continue buying this product.

The smell is ok but when mix with water, it becomes this gooey mixture and it's really disgusting to swallow. Highly NOT recommended.
