Hello! I hope you find one or two of my reviews helpful. Initially I was hesitant about buying supplements online, and admit that if it weren't for the DHL option iHerb offer I might not. However after buying from iHerb I have no reservations and they are now my go-to place for all supplements. iHerb offer competitive prices and delivery charges are low (DHL option). With DHL you get track and trace and I find deliveries are never more than four days from my door, e.g. if I order on Tuesday (Monday US time) the order is usually delivered to me on Friday. iHerb's reasonable prices mean I can trial products and find ones that suit without blowing my budget. If you have skin with issues or an auto-immune disorder, you will likely already know that finding "things that work" is expensive and difficult. I recommend giving iHerb a try.

If you have gout, beware the Inosine in this brand of Monolaurin, as Inosine produces uric acid after ingestion. I also found this product to aggravate asthma.

Good quality brand, natural vitamin A

Carlson natural vitamin A is great. One of the few corn free formulations that also does not contain soy oil. Will buy again and recommend.

Very effective. Bottle says to add to water however I just place the drops under my tongue. No additives, preservatives etc. Great value for money. Will buy again and recommend.

Value for money

This B5 is great. I have emptied the contents of all the capsules into the bottle and sprinkle small amounts of it onto (cold) food, because I don't necessarily want to take high doses. Easy way to take it. Thank you Nature's Way for not adding a whole chemical experiment to the capsules.

Good choice - Natural Factors

Posted on Dec 25, 2012

Purchased at iHerb

I'm starting to look at Natural Factors more and more now, as their tablets are good value and don't contain lots of unnecessary fillers/ingredients. The tablets are small and well utilised, can easily be cut in half if needed (e.g. to avoid a niacin flush). Recommend.

NO fillers or excipients - great for asthma and replenishing magnesium

This magnesium really helps my asthma, a noticeable difference when compared to other forms of magnesium I have tried. Will buy again and recommend to others.

Economical - good source of calcium

Posted on Jan 14, 2013

Purchased at iHerb

Great source of natural calcium and really economical. Mixes easily to have on its own in water or mix into other drinks/food. A very fine tasteless powder. One teaspoon is 1620mg of calcium - I use one quarter teaspoon (405mg calcium).

Nice form of zinc

Posted on Jan 14, 2013

Purchased at iHerb

I decided to try this zinc because I didn't want to buy zinc gluconate or other organic acids such as citrate. Pleased I did. Seems to be well absorbed and there are minimal fillers/additives. This is now my zinc staple. Will continue to buy it.

I'm converted - highly recommend for skin that has "issues"

Posted on Jan 15, 2013

Purchased at iHerb

I have stupid skin that pretty much hates everything. It was getting to the point I was thinking of using duck fat or something. But then I tried this and WOW. Absolutely amazing for skin. Non-greasy, leaves skin feeling so soft and smooth, blotch and irritation free. Nothing else has ever been this good for my skin. I tried Emu oil once in the past (purchased at a local shop) and felt it irritated my skin so discontinued use. I'm now thinking that one wasn't certified fully refined like this one is - most probably wasn't. I will therefore make sure to buy Emu oil that specifies it's certified refined. I'm disappointed I didn't buy a larger amount. However due to popularity (I can see why!) stock vanishes really quickly and this was the only one available at the time. I was also being cautious because of my prior experience - $6 is very reasonable and a little goes a long way. I will definitely order a larger amount next time.

Fantastic for skin - definitely try these

Posted on Jan 15, 2013

Purchased at iHerb

I am not able to take fish oil and most vege oils are my enemy (e.g. flax, nuts, seeds etc). I rely on animal fats and decided to try these. I have purchased Emu oil caps in the past (from a local store) though they did not seem to agree with me so I discontinued use. However, these caps are fine. I think it might be because these caps are certified fully refined Emu oil and the others I bought were likely not. I am therefore only going to buy certified refined oil in future. I have definitely noticed an improvement in my skin as well as some anti-inflammatory benefits so will most certainly purchase again. Recommend.

Glad I tried this - give it a go

I've been trying (unsuccessfully) to find an effective iron supplement for ages. Have tried everything from the stock standard ferrous sulfate to liver powder and yep raw liver at one point. So I didn't think this would amount to much either. And was pleasantly surprised! I remember reading about this form of iron before I ordered it. After trying it and looking again at the research I have to agree that this form of iron does seem really effective, without the unpleasant effects of other forms. I really don't know if the small amount of casein is that much of an issue - I'm pretty sensitive when it comes to most things (!!!) however this doesn't seem to have adverse effects. I have also read that this form of iron is least affected by other supplements and food (e.g. dairy). A good thing if you don't want the hassle of spacing out your medications or avoiding certain foods - one less hassle.

Five stars for an excellent potassium supplement

Posted on Jan 15, 2013

Purchased at iHerb

I consider this potassium a must have. I can really feel the benefits of this product helping to balance electrolytes, more so than potassium gluconate or potassium chloride, neither of which were as beneficial (for me). Definitely best to take with meals as per label, as any form of supplemental potassium can upset the stomach. Minimal fillers.
